How I Got into Communication:
Currently finishing my Senior year at the University of Mary, I’ve spent the past 3.5 years studying Strategic Communication with minors in Catholic Stuides and Psychology.
I was first introduced to Communication through an advisor who was helping me to narrow down my interests as a freshman. I was interested to helping people in a real and tangible way by helping to inform them of
what’s going on around them. The world we live in is changing everyday whether thats with technology advancing or us as human beings and I want to help my generation and others to continue to grow and learn through these changes and help the world to ultimately grow closer to Christ.
I’ve worked throughout my college years in many ways to grow in my field, whether thats through my work in admissions with potential students or helping to form the policies of a first year summer camp. I’ve been blessed to ge able to learn and grow in many ways throughout my college years through many amazing opportunities both on campus and off.
As I prepare to graduate and enter the workforce I’m looking forward to continuing to grow in my field as I believe that you can never be too prepared or have grown too much in your field.
I’m excited to work with Public Relations, Social Media, Advertising, and truly any form of communication work.
