About Me

How I Got into Communication?

What’s next after graduation?

I was first introduced to Communication through an advisor who was helping me to narrow down my interests as a freshman. I was interested in helping people in a real and tangible way by working to help inform them of what’s going on in the world.

The world we live in is changing everyday whether thats with advancements in technology or us growing as human beings and I want to help my generation and others to continue to grow and learn through these changes and help the world to ultimately grow closer to Christ.

What have I done throughout my time at UMary?

I’ve worked throughout my college years in many ways to grow in my field, whether thats through my work in admissions with potential students or helping to form the policies of a first year summer camp.

This year I started working with our Wrestling Team as their social media manager and it has been one of the most rewarding and enjoyable experiences. I’ve grown out following by 30% and have had so much fun doing it.

I’ve also stepped into a role as a Marketing Intern at the Bismarck Cancer Center where I have helped them put on events to raise money for our patients and have also helped with their social media platforms as well.

My time at NCAA Nationals was so fun and UMary left with 3 more All Americans and a National Champion

As I prepare to graduate and enter the workforce I’m looking forward to continuing to grow in my field as I believe that you can never be too prepared or have grown too much.

I’m excited to continue to work in Public Relations, Social Media, Advertising, and truly any form of communication work.
